Bococa Dental isn't your typical dentist's office. First off - it's in the heart of Brooklyn, NY, so you know it better be "with it." And secondly, at the helm is Greg Gangi, Bococa's owner who holds a unique vision and for his practice, which is friendly, approachable, and creative. Greg reached out to me to create a new digital home for Bococa that brought his real-life office's aesthetic to the digital world. We collaborated to bring his brand to life online and built a custom WordPress website that is minimal, colorful, and built with best SEO practices in mind.

When looking for someone to partner with on our new web design, I knew I needed someone who wouldn't create a typical banal dental website. Working with Quinn to bring our site to life was the perfect fit. Her expertise meshed perfectly for what I needed for our new website. She was also the first person to clearly articulate how SEO works and all the key points and details needed to make a website successful from search and usability standpoints. Quinn took a complex process and organized it in a way that was easily managed and clearly articulated. Brand Aesthetic + Styling
Bococa Dental already had a logo that was well established for the brand, from building signage to marketing materials. The happy smiling tooth design fit perfectly with Greg's vision for a friendly dental brand, but a logo doesn't create a full brand identity. We worked together to flesh out the rest of the brand aesthetic and style that would work with the existing logo and bring to life the welcoming, modern, and minimal vibe that the office already embodied.
WordPress Website Design
A lot has changed in the digital world since 2011, the year Bococa's previous website was built. So, our first goal with this web design project was to bring Bococa's digital presence into today's design and technical standards. Secondly, Greg wanted to attract more patients online vs. just word-of-mouth. He knew digital-savvy Brooklyn residents were searching for dentists online, and wanted to make sure he captured their attention and stood out amongst his local competitors.
I designed and developed this custom WordPress website to highlight Bococa's brand personality and main services. The outcome was a colorful yet minimal website that draws in local search traffic and gives a friendly first impression that naturally translates to patients' in-office experience.
Greg had a clear vision that his new website should be design-centric, minimal, and informative. Visitors are welcomed to the site with an animated gif of Bococa's happy tooth logo, setting the tone right on the home page. Throughout the site, we highlighted the clean, simple aesthetic of Bococa's actual office and built calls-to-actions to drive people to make appointments.
